Melina Kanakaredes is an American actress who is best famous for her character of Detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS police procedural drama series CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence and Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama series The Resident. The actress also won acclaim for her bold television debut in the role of Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap show Guiding Light. She was also a part of 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life by Elisabeth Kubler Ross, the writer of the Immortals film Immortals will be adapted to the large-screen. Her role will be with Vlas Parlapanides and Charley Parlapanides. She is also filming for the upcoming show Gods & Heroes.
