born Kellie Dawn Pickler on June 28 1986 Pickler experienced a turbulent childhood. When she was only two, she was abandoned by her mother in order to escape her abusive husband. Pickler had her mother back in her life by 1995. She took charge of Pickler. It was, however, not the best experience. Her grandparents took care of Pickler from age 12 until the age of adulthood. In the absence of their parents Pickler became too busy as a mother to her siblings. The mother of three confessed to her that in absence of her parents Pickler had no time to attend school.
