Annie Mist Thorisdottir from Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit athlete. She co-owns Crossfit Reykjavik where she also coaches and trains. Annie was the first woman ever to win CrossFit Games on two occasions. In 2010, she placed 2nd. Annie Thorisdottir, an Icelandic weightlifter and also an avid CrossFit athlete and celebrity TV personality. She has won the CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice, becoming the first female winner. Her other achievements include securing Dubai Fitness Championships in 2017 and 2013. Annie was brought up by her parents in Reykjavik Iceland. When she was a kid she was an avid fan of sports and exercise. She participated in many school competitions and was awarded a variety of medals. The first time she participated was time in 2009 in CrossFit Games held in California, where she did very well. Annie Thorisdottir will be aged 31 (by the year 2021). She stands at 5'7" tall and weighs around 67 pounds. Annie began her CrossFit adventure in California in 2009. At the beginning of her competition, she did very well and finished in the top 10 among 70. But she did not win a championship and concluded the competition in 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. At the CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she came in seconds place and won the silver medal same year. Because of her outstanding performance, she was able to win the CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie's impressive performance in 2012 brought her to another CrossFit Games victory. This was her second consecutive time she won consecutively. She also received a gold medal. And in 2021, she won with a bronze. At present, Annie works as a trainer and coach in Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie's rise in popularity as an athlete has seen her become the spokesperson for many sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Periodization Nuunhydration Sidekick Yerbae. There are a few thousand subscribers to her self-titled Youtube channel where videos of training as well as travel and family videos are uploaded.
